EFusjon, Inc has ceased their multi-level marketing business as of September 1, 2010.

I feel bad for EFusjon Distributors because I’ve been where they are right now.  And if EFusjon was their only source of income, then it’s a devastating blow.

So what can we learn from this?

This emphasizes the point that you really don’t own a network marketing business.  The company leaders own the business and you have no control of their decisions.  So you want to build a business that you really own and control.

To do that, you want to market “You, Inc.”, not just your network marketing company. Then if your MLM company changes their strategy, you still have your business intact.

Learn how to generate network marketing leads, so that if your mlm company closes, you can move on and build a dynamic business with another network marketing company.  iContact or GetResponse are easy to use email systems.

This also allows you to setup multiple streams of income, so that when one stops, you have still have money coming in.

By recommending affiliate products and services to your contacts, you can create many times more income than with just your network marketing company.

And the fact is that most people won’t join your business, so you might as well earn extra cash by helping them get the products and services that they do need.

Sometimes we have to learn lessons the hard way.

But don’t give up on your hopes and dreams just because a network marketing company closed.
